Ruskeala marble canyon is an amazing monument of mining geology. Ruskeala gray with shades of marble was widely used in the construction of St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals, Marble, Tauride and Winter Palaces. Ruskeala waterfalls are known as the place where the filming of the film “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” took place.

In the picturesque place of Ruskeala, the Tokhma River breaks into three independent waterfalls, noisily and cheerfully echoing each other along the road.
The height of the waterfalls varies between 3-4 meters.
In 2005, the movie "Dark World" was filmed on Ahvenkoski, the bathing scene of the main character of the film "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" (1972) and scenes of the last battle were also filmed here.
